In Their Own Words

  • We hired Wesley in March of 2017 on a criminal case with not ever having to ever hire a lawyer I had no idea what was entailed. I found Mr. Clark and went with him. I put all my faith in him and allowed him to take care of the case. Wesley was always very informative and kept us in the loop he answered calls and questions and he's very knowledgeable he has the best interest of his client never once let us down. Hands down he's one of the best well worth every dollar spent.

  • Wes was extremely helpful, professional, and concerned. He kept me and my family informed throughout a difficult time and was very effective in helping to find a solution that was actually beneficial to me, instead of incarceration. Highly recommended attorney. Would definitely consult with him again, if needed.

  • Due to circumstances, I needed to hire an attorney. Being new to the area left me somewhat more uncertain than normal. Searching the internet led me to Wesley Clark. After reading quite a few positive reviews, I made contact. The first thing I noticed over the phone was a pleasant & easy going demeanor. I did not feel as though this was an attorney/client conversation. After meeting in person a few days later, I knew I made the right choice to call Mr. Clark. I never felt as though I was speaking with a lawyer, but instead, a friend. He has such an easy way about him that can only put you at ease. Hopefully, I will not need legal representation for any reason in the future, but, if I do, there is only one person I am calling. He is honest, fair, & does exactly what he tells you he will do. If you ever find yourself in a situation that requires legal counsel, do yourself a favor and call Wesley Clark. You will be treated as a person & not just another client.

Resourceful Representation

Wesley Clark is a lawyer originally from Jamestown, Tennessee. He graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He attended law school at Southern Illinois University, where he earned awards for academic excellence in Criminal Procedure, Negotiation, Immigration Law, Federal Income Tax, Consumer Protection, First Amendment Rights, was on the Dean’s List for three semesters, and graduated in the top 25% of his class.

Since his admission to the bar in 2013, he has handled hundreds of criminal cases ranging from violations of probation to felony sex crimes and homicide.  Wesley successfully appealed a criminal case, Foley v. State, from Rutherford County Circuit Court in a landmark decision establishing the unconstitutionality of particular aspects of the Tennessee Sex Offender Registration Act.

In addition to his work defending clients charged with criminal violations, Wesley has also represented hundreds of clients in complex civil litigation, including joint representation with the Tennessee ACLU and attorney Mark Downton, in a class action civil right case, Doe v. Hommrich, which established in 2017 that punitive solitary confinement of juveniles violates the constitution.  He was named a Top 40 Under 40 criminal trial lawyer in 2015 and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.  Wesley’s hobbies include reading, building computers, and enjoying all the excellent cuisine offered by local Nashville restaurants with his wife Rachel.
